AVID Property Group Joins the Made for People Initiative

At AVID Property Group, we’re proud to be part of the Made for People Initiative – a national program recognising developers who put people, connection and community at the heart of everything they do.

The initiative celebrates those who go beyond building homes to create neighbourhoods where people feel a true sense of belonging. It highlights the importance of thoughtful design, shared spaces and meaningful engagement in shaping communities that support wellbeing, relationships and long-term liveability.

For us, this recognition reflects what has always mattered most. From the earliest stages of planning through to settlement and beyond, we design and deliver communities with people in mind – places where neighbours can connect and feel genuinely proud to call home.

We believe the strongest communities are built in the everyday moments. That’s why we look beyond the physical environment to create experiences that bring people together. Our settlement events are a great example – welcoming new residents, helping them meet their neighbours and creating a sense of connection from day one.

Our resident activations continue that momentum. From relaxed gatherings and seasonal celebrations to family-friendly activities, these experiences are designed to encourage participation, create shared memories and foster a lasting sense of community.

Behind this is our dedicated Community Development Officer, who plays an important role in bringing our neighbourhoods to life. By working closely with residents and shaping initiatives around local interests, they help ensure every event feels inclusive, welcoming and meaningful – strengthening the connections that make each community unique.
